The Power of Home Staging

Home Staging is the process of preparing a home for sale by decluttering and depersonalizing or by furnishing an empty home. The objective is to make a home a house or product, by neutralizing the decor to appeal to most buyers, making it so a buyer can picture themselves living in that house and making it their home.  

Statistics show that, in a good economy, homes that have been staged stand out above the comparables, selling faster and often times above asking price. Statistics also show that, in a bad economy, homes that have been staged sell quicker than homes that have not been staged and for more money than the comparables.

If you are serious about selling your home you should consider having it staged or staging it yourself. You wouldn't put your car up for sale without atleast taking it to a carwash and having it cleaned inside and out. Most people have their cars detailed before putting it up for sale. Why would you not do the same for your home?

Explanation of Services

Consultations: For a predetermined fee, Memorable Decors does a walk through of a home, inside and out, and puts together a list of recommended  changes and/or improvements that the home owner then performs themself. This may include cleaning, decluttering, painting, rearranging furniture, landscaping, etc.

Full Service: Memorable Decors does a walk through of a home, inside and out, and puts together an estimate of recommended changes and/or improvements to be performed by Memorable Decors and/or third party contractors. This again may include cleaning, decluterring, painting, rearranging furniture, landscaping, etc.
